Our Surveillance courses are aimed at both experienced and inexperienced operators who wish to use these skills for a wide range of operations.
The 5 Day course includes foot, mobile and technical surveillance with HUMINT and OSINT integrated as part of the course to allow you to become a much more proficient operator in the real world. This is a progressive course that culminates in a surveillance exercises on each day of the course with theory sessions and practical training each morning before each operation. You get the chance to develop your skills and apply them as you move through the program, by adding new skills each day in each operation. This is all to build you up to the final operation that requires you to apply all that you have learned and will take you from gathering open source intelligence and planning the operation to deploying in mobile follow, then transitioning to foot. Not forgetting that you have your technical surveillance to utilize. This will be a long exercise where you could find yourself anywhere with only your training and your team to rely on.
Assessment
The candidates complete a student workbook rather than a written exam. This workbook is provided on day one of the course allowing students to be assessed on the daily exercises then completing their workbooks at their leisure on an evening. Students then hand their completed workbook in on the final day of the course.
Course Costs
The course fee covers all training, equipment, radios, vehicles etc. Food and accommodation are not included but we can make recommendations on where to stay.
Pre-read
Once booking has been confirmed candidates will receive a pre-read (Log Book Keeping) and joining instructions to help prepare for the course.
Students must be able to converse fully in the English language (due to fast and accurate radio procedure). They must produce a valid driving licence on the first day of the course if they are to participate in driving.
